The SASDC is the leading advocate of supplier diversity and, the true spirit of our organisational mission’s focus on collaboration, we endeavour to support our corporate members, strategic partners and certified black owned businesses by creating collaborative platforms through which we can collectively bridge the gap that impedes tangible inclusive procurement and development outcomes. The potential is tremendous when we expand our horizons. Supplier diversity stimulates competition, unlocks creativity, and connects companies to local communities. Ultimately, it powers business ecosystems where all can thrive.
By bringing together leading minds across sectors, we aim to explore how to leverage the ingenuity and talents of previously untapped suppliers. How can we amplify new voices and bring fresh thinking into our supply chains? How can procurement and partnership strategies accelerate the growth of black-owned, particularly black women- and youth-owned businesses, now and into the future?

Conference Theme & Objectives
The South African Supplier Diversity Council (SASDC) Synergy Conference and Business Opportunity Fair epitomizes our forward-looking commitment to shaping tomorrow's economic landscape through innovation and inclusivity.
As we mark two decades since our national endeavour to rectify economic exclusion through initiatives like the Broad-based Black Economic Empowerment Act (Act No. 53 of 2003 as amended), and celebrate three decades of democracy, it's evident that while strides have been made, challenges persist in reducing inequality, poverty, and unemployment. It becomes evident that we cannot keep doing the same things yet expecting a different outcome. While the future of business lies in embracing innovation and inclusion, supplier diversity is essential for driving inclusive economic prosperity in South Africa and beyond. As we Empower Tomorrow through new technologies, processes, and perspectives, we must reimagine opening doors to diverse suppliers and partners.

The Business Opportunity Fair allows black business owners to cluster numerous sales calls with dozens of major South African and multinational companies and other buying institutions. It is the only place you can accomplish so much—so conveniently.
